Welcome to the ALOHA Kauai Yoga Festival, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit celebrating YOGA, PEACE, and MUSIC. The festival is held at the scenic Wailua River and Pacific Ocean, near Kapaa, Kauai. Please respect our neighbors, on-site rules, and all state and local laws.

ENTRY

Upon arrival, head to the festival's main box office, marked by balloons and signage. Vendors, volunteers, and performers will be on our Guest List at the box office. If you bought a ticket on Eventbrite, show your ticket, or your name will be on our list. All attendees (including teachers, performers, and vendors) must sign a liability waiver and rules agreement to receive a wristband. Wristbands are required for re-entry.

  • Please note that no electricity or electric power cords or strips are allowed on the lawn at the Kauai Shores Hotel due to Insurance.

PARKING

Parking at Kauai Shores Hotel is extremely limited. Please arrive early if you need to park on-site. Please carpool, walk, or ride a bike if possible.

TICKETS

The ALOHA Festival Box Office will be located at the Welcome and Registration entrance just north of the main pavilion. The entrance will be clearly marked upon your arrival. We accept credit, debit, and cash as forms of payment. If you have purchased a ticket your name will be on the guest list at the door. Tickets are Non-Refundable. Tickets can be transferred to another name prior to getting a wrist band.

KEEP THE PEACE

ALOHA Festival is a safe, healing space. Harmful behavior will not be tolerated, and participants violating festival policies may be removed. If you feel unsafe, report it to any ALOHA staff member immediately. For emergencies, dial 911. The non-emergency Police Dispatch number is 808-241-1711.
We enforce a zero-tolerance policy against harassment of any kind, including but not limited to race, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or appearance. Harassment includes non-consensual touching, verbal harassment, intimidation, stalking, and other inappropriate behaviors.

SUBSTANCE FREE EVENT

  • No underage drinking

  • No illegal substances or hallucinogens

  • No glass containers or alcohol inside the festival

  • No coolers allowed

THE COMMUNITY

Share the ALOHA and please look out for each other. If you see someone needing help please inform our staff so that we can attend to their needs. Our priority is for our community to feel safe and at peace during the event. Please be courteous to your neighbors and look out for one another. Our top goal is safety for all.

ZERO WASTE EVENT

Please pack out whatever waste you bring and leave no trace on the festival grounds. This is a “ZERO WASTE” Event  ALOHA Festival is implementing the principles of “Zero Waste”. We will have one “Waste/Recycling” station near the Box Office. This station will have containers for recyclables, compostables, and trash. It will be operated by volunteers so please ensure materials are separated properly.

KEEP THE SCENE CLEAN

You have heard it before, leave no trace. All personal belongings must be removed from the lawn area at the end of the event. The Aloha Festival cannot be held responsible for any lost and stolen items or merchandise. Please clean you hangout area of the festival grounds during and after your stay to keep our island beautiful.

LIABILITY WAIVER

ALOHA Kauai Yoga Festival & Worldwide Peace Meditation Summit

WAIVER LIABILITY / PARTICIPANT RELEASE OF CLAIMS

By attending the event, you (you or the “Participant”) hereby execute this waiver and release (the “Agreement”) effective as of the date your ticket is purchased. ALOHA Kauai Yoga Festival & Worldwide Peace Meditation Summit produces yoga, outdoor activity and music festivals (each a “Festival” and, collectively, the “Festivals”) at Kauai Shores Hotel location. The Festivals, including, but not limited to yoga, meditation, workshops, and performances (collectively, the “Activities”). You are aware of the potential dangers involved in the Activities.  In consideration of your participation in the Activities, you agree as follows:

  1. You hereby release ALOHA Kauai Yoga Festival & Worldwide Peace Meditation Summit & Kauai Shores Hotel, the owners of any venue at which a Festival is held, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, members, agents, contractors, representatives, sponsors, volunteers, successors, and assigns (the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, damages, rights of action, or causes of action, arising out of your participation in any Activity at any Festival.

  2. You know and understand the scope, nature, and extent of the risks involved in the Activities. The Activity may require physical exertion, which may be strenuous and could, in some circumstances, result in injury, including, but not limited to, abnormal blood pressure, fainting, heartbeat disorders, physical injury, and heart attack.  If you experience any physical pain or discomfort, you agree to immediately discontinue the Activity and seek help. You voluntarily, freely and expressly choose to incur all risks associated with any Activity, understanding that those risks may include personal injury, damage to property, and/or death.

  3. If an emergency or other incident occurs in which, in the sole judgment of the Released Parties or medical personnel, requires medical treatment or care, you hereby consent to such treatment.  You understand and agree that any and all medical treatment rendered to you by, or at the request of, any Released Party is not an admission of obligation to provide, or continue to provide, any such medical treatment and also is not a waiver by any Released Party of any right under this Agreement.

  4. You represent and warrant the following: (a) you have read this Agreement and understand it; and (b) you are at least 18 years of age, are in good health, and have no physical defects that might cause you harm during your participation in any Activity.

  5. This Agreement extends and applies to all unknown, unforeseen, unanticipated, and unsuspected injuries, damages, loss, and liability, and the consequences of them, as well as those disclosed or known to exist.  You expressly waive all provisions of any state, federal, local, or territorial law or statute which provides that releases will not extend to claims, demands, injuries, or damages that are unknown or unsuspected to exist at the time to the person executing the release.

  6. You authorize ALOHA Kauai Yoga Festival & Worldwide Peace Meditation Summit  assignees, licensees, legal representatives and transferees to use and publish (with or without your name, company name, or with a fictitious name) any audiovisual recordings, photographs, pictures, portraits or images captured at or around any Festival in any and all forms and media and in all manners, including, but not limited to, composite images and distorted representations, for the purposes of publicity, illustration, commercial art, advertising, publishing (including publishing in electronic form or on Internet websites) for any product or services, or for  such other lawful uses as may be determined by ALOHA Kauai Yoga Festival & Worldwide Peace Meditation Summit.  You waive any and all right to review or approve any uses of your name, likeness, images, written copy, or finished product.

  7. This agreement is legally binding upon you and your heirs, estate, assigns, legal guardians, and personal representatives.

  8. By entering into this Agreement, you knowingly and voluntarily waive any and all rights you might have to a trial before a jury, and agree to mandatory binding arbitration of all disputes or claims arising out of this Agreement.

  9. If any provision of this Agreement is for any reason held to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability will not affect any other provision of this Agreement, and this Agreement will be construed as if such invalid or unenforceable provision were omitted.

This is a release of liability. Cancel your purchase of any Festival ticket if you do not understand or do not agree with the terms of this Agreement.  By entering festival grounds or signing this Liability Waiver, you hereby accept and agree to all the terms of this Agreement and our Rules and Regulations.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO PEACEFUL ATMOSPHERE

DISTURBING the PEACE could result in being REMOVED from the ALOHA Festival grounds.
